Story of this blog

In 1999 I introduced my family's artwork
online for the first time with "Bertabella" .

I originally created the name "Bertabella" for my first ceramic online store at the address www.bertabella.com (1999-2001) providing an answer to the requests of customers visiting my family's workshop. They had asked if it were possible to purchase Cama dinnerware from abraod.
At that time I was starting my research about new ways of selling my family's ceramics. I had thought of me as an ambassador from Renaissance times.
This was my first innovation for my family's workshop. I created my own website by attending classes for html, access, excel and word with a Microsoft Licensee in Perugia. For the website format I got inspired by the Williams-Sonoma website. Cama ceramics were featured in their cookbooks early 1990s.
